A strange kind of apathy has occupied my being. I can only try and fight it with doing something, anything. So for the past month (woah, I haven't written in a month, that's a lot) I cleaned, everything I could, I listened for the first time to a podcast, I made a game from scratch, I continue to organize my archive, I watched movies, read books and articles, started editing some videos. But I still feel as if I'm doing nothing all day long. Wasting every fckin minute.

I know some people read the blog and I'd like to apologize for it being somewhat more of a personal diary than the photo blog I imagined it to be. I have new ideas for posts that I will write soon (I hope). I don't know if you feel the same way I do - but it's torture for me to not have as much work as I'm used to, to be so isolated, and stressed every time I want to go out and see my friends, to be afraid to go home for the holidays and so on...

So let's begin anew! May the new year be the year of no wasted opportunities, of feeling good about yourself, of accomplishments that you always dreamed of, or never dreamed of but are good...and a year of better mental and physical health. I always imagined myself living in past decades and the Roaring 20's are so alluring to me. The 20's were a turning point for art around the world - Art Deco, DADA, Surrealism, Expresionism, it was a time for creativity, experimentation and significant change in perspective.

As we all know history has the tendency for repeating itself. I do hope the 20s of the 21st century would be as good as that, or maybe even better. We'll turn out to be our better selves, the wheel will turn and we'll do as much as we can to make a better world. I know it sounds a bit cheesy, excuse my enthusiasm. I'll leave it here for now. And to my favorite readers enjoy yourselves this year, let your imagination run wild and create.
